Fine Lines & Wrinkles

When you look at your face in the mirror you typically don’t try and differentiate one kind of wrinkle from another. To most people, a wrinkle is a wrinkle and that’s enough for concern. However, to understand the various treatment options for wrinkles, you should be aware that there are two different kinds of wrinkles:

Static wrinkles are those facial lines that are visible even when our face is relaxed, thus resting lines.

Dynamic wrinkles are those wrinkles and lines that appear when your face muscles move to form a repetitive facial movement, thus expression lines

Treatment should start as soon as one sees a wrinkle developing when the wrinkles are still “soft”. If these wrinkles are neglected they become “ingrained” and “scar like”, and difficult to treat successfully.
